Also his brother, Charlie of British Columbia. Lloyd was a loving partner and best friend to Marjorie Bain. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
Born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Lloyd was predeceased by his mother, Rita and father, John Howley.
He had loving memories of his many aunts and uncles and a special gratitude to childhood mentor the late Billy Rhodes.
Lloyd was the owner and operator of Lloyd’s Lock and Security. He built strong relationships with his many clients who will miss his smile and good loving nature. Lloyd’s passion was his guitar and his love of music and song. He enjoyed many jam sessions with fellow musicians and his presence will be greatly missed at local clubs where he played and sang.
Lloyd had planned for a Celebration of Life party for everyone he loved, which was everyone he ever met. Please join his friends and family on Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the Gunners Club on Henry Street, starting at 1 p.m.
At Lloyd’s request, donations can be made to the Brant Pregnancy Resource Center.
Written by our mother Margie (Howley) Guindon for our father.
