The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., surrounded by his family, on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, of Gary H. MacAusland, of Hiawatha Street, Woodstock, Ont., age 60 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Samuel and Flossie (MacKinnon) MacAusland. Survived by his children Gwen (Jim) Hutchison, Debbie (Wayne) Tanner, Greg (Cheryl) MacAusland and Rachel (Mark) Hayes all of Woodstock, Ont.; grandchildren Matthew, Megan, Dawson, Madison, Jaydyn, Ethan and Annette (Aucoin) Mayos mother of the children; brothers Gerald (Jean) MacAusland, Clermont, PE; Ray (Sharon) MacAusland, Borden, PE. Predeceased by brothers Major, Preston, Leonard, Lloyd, Elton, Arnold; and by sisters Ruth Jeffery and Eileen Arsenault. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
