84, Truro, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012, in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro.
Born in Cherry Valley, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Furness and Grace (Jenkins) Matheson. Lawrence was a lifelong truck driver having driven for 7up and also Inland Oil. He is survived by sons, Gary (Carla), Kenny (Joan), Larry (Noreen), all of Truro; daughters, Ruby Weatherbee (Sonny) of Miramichi, N.B., Arlene MacLaren (Bobby) of Onslow; grandson Andrew; granddaughters Kathy, Kimmy, Michelle, Melissa, Ceilidh; several great-grandchildren; special friend Ina Gulliver. He was predeceased by his wife Jean Louise (Smith) Matheson; brother Craig.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by Lawrence’s request. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Burial will take place at a later date in the Bible Hill Cemetery, Bible Hill.
