CARLO PELLIZZON "Carlo P" May 18, 1925 - July 23, 2007 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and nonno on July 23, 2007. Survived by his loving wife Angela of 52 years, his loving children Mario (Anita) Pellizzon, Anna (Lloyd) Unsworth and Renza (Lawrence) Kanigan. The greatest joys in his life were his grandchildren: Kelsy, Adam, Travis, Owen, Brittany, Eric, Curtis, Jill and Elsie. He will also be remembered by his brother Narciso Pellizzon, brother and sisters in law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Carlo was born in Maser, Treviso, Italy and came to Kamloops on November 11, 1951. On January 8, 1955 he married his loving wife, Angela and over the next few years they had three children. As a devoted and caring husband and father, family was always his #1 priority. Carlo worked extremely hard at various jobs throughout the years. Being a self taught carpenter he took pride in building three homes for his family, while holding down a fulltime job and many times helping others complete theirs. Carlo was proud to retire after 20 years of service as a carpenter foreman with the City of Kamloops. Retirement years were enjoyed by gardening, creek fishing and family camping trips to North Barriere Lake. The family would like to thank the nurses on 6 South and 3 West at Royal Inland Hospital for their compassion and caring during Dad's last days. Prayers will be recited at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 635 Tranquille Road on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. The Reverend Father Peter Nguyen will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, B.C. V2C 2T1 in memory of Carlo.
