Maude, A. McLellan, 83, formerly of Doric Avenue, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Kent Regency, New Hampshire. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a daughter of the late John and Theresa (Knox) Murphy, she had lived in Cranston, Rhode Island, since 1967. She was the wife of the late Irving A. McLellan. Mrs. McLellan was a quality control inspector at Davol Manufacturing for 20 years before retiring in 1985. She is survived by three sons; John W. McLellan of Prescott Valley, AZ, James S. McLellan of Webster, NY; and Wayne J. McLellan of Coventry, two daughters; Gail M. Hobin of Ft. Pierce, FL and M. Deborah McLellan of Cranston, a brother, Joseph Murphy and a sister Caroline Cerrone both of Prince Edward Island, Canada, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Stapleton-Barry-Holdredge Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Cranston, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Hope Alzheimer's Center, 25 Brayton Ave., Cranston 02920. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Friday 4 to 7. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
