LONG, Marguerite Loraine 28/09/1926 - 29/07/2007 Marguerite Long (Gagne) passed away at her home in Victoria with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Frank & Catherine Gagne, brothers Michael, John, & Donald. Survived by her loving and devoted husband Alvin, her children Michael (Shelly), (Kamloops), Clayton (Gwen), (Victoria), Catherine (Calgary), Deborah (Stephen), (Albuquerque, NM), grandchildren Steven, Taylor, Matthew, Diana, Lee, Kyle, James, Sisters Gwynneth, Ruby, Sylvia (Tom), (Kamloops), Madeline (Bob), (Vancouver), brother David, (Langley) and many nieces and nephews. Born in Kamloops, attended St. Ann's Academy then moved to Saskatoon where she met her husband. Lived there for five years then moved to Kamloops, Vancouver, and Celista, BC where they owned & operated a grocery store for eight years, then they retired to Victoria. She loved her family very much and was loved and well respected in her community. We will miss her. In lieu of flowers donations to the Victoria Hospice would be appreciated. The celebration of Marguerite's life is at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4635 Elk Lake Dr., Victoria on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M
