LESTER JAMES BECK January 3, 1928 - July 28, 2007 Lester passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC. Lester was born in Highgate, Ontario. He married Shirley Joyce Moore on September 24, 1949; in December 1962 they moved to BC, living in Prince Rupert, Chetwynd and Kamloops. Lester is survived by his wife, Shirley, his brothers William (Lillian) Beck and Don (Julie) Beck, his sister Shirley Johns; his four children Jerry (Marlene) Beck, David (Joyce) Beck, Paul (Lisa) Beck and Susan (Mark) duPuy, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Clark. Lester will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends for his kindness and sense of humour. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way with Pastor Don Maione officiating.
