AL McDONALD 1918 ~ 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and uncle Allan Joseph McDonald on August 1, 2007, surrounded by his loved ones. Al is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as many dear friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Della of 50 years, his parents and five siblings. Al was a conductor for the CNR for 35 years. It was in Jasper that he met the love of his life, Della. Al and Della resided in Jasper for 42 years before moving to Kamloops in 1996. Family and friends wish to thank Father Peter, Dr. Fike, and all the staff at Overlander for their loving, compassionate care they gave Al and Della over the years. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 3, 2007 in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 635 Tranquille Road. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with Reverend Father Peter Nguyen, Celebrant. Following the service, Al will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery.
