MARGARET EVELYN NESS October 5, 1914 - July 28, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce that Margaret passed away in her sleep on July 28 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her loyal husband Gerry in September 2005 and is survived by her children: Barb (Dan), Rob (Peria) and Marilyn and six grandchildren. Margaret had a full life, from teaching at the age of 16 in a one-room schoolhouse to writing a book at the age of 86 about her mother's life. She drove a car and swam regularly at the Y until she reached 90. The family is grateful for the kindness of the staff at the Renaissance and the Ponderosa Respite. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at the Odd Fellows & Rebekahs Hall, 423 Tranquille Road, Kamloops on August 25, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
