The death occurred peacefully at Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, P.E.I., on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, of Frances Dorothy (nee Robertson) Offer, of Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, and formerly of Summerside, aged 93 years. Frances was born in Summerside, P.E.I., on April 20, 1915, to her late parents William "Elton" and Mattie Snow (MacKenzie) Robertson. Beloved wife of the late "Elmer" George Offer and loving mother of Tom (Rita), Clinton and Paul (Jean), Tyne Valley. Loving grandmother of Jay (Kathy), Tom R., Alan (Allison) and Julia (Davide) De Labio and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Chesley, Ned, Max, Janet, Tillie and Earle. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Wednesday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 am. Interment in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Memorial donations in Frances' memory to the CNIB, Summerside, Presbyterian Church, or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
