Peacefully at the Western Hospital Alberton on Wednesday Aug. 13, 2008, of Greta Lauretta Fraser beloved wife of the late Herbert Fraser age 78 years. Born Feb. 28, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Herbert T. and Rosella S. nee Arsenault Avery. Cherished mother to Peggy (Dale) Paul and loving grandmother to Sara, Trevor, Adam, and David Paul all of Calgary. Dear sister to Wilma (John) Campbell of Summerside, Phyllis (Donnie) Matthews of Northport and Herbert (Shirley) Avery of Northport. She si also survived by brothers and sisters in law, June and Fred Hamill of Northport, Charlie and Elaine Fraser of Northport, Eleanor Fraser of Alberton, Mildred and Bert MacKenzie of Rothesay, N.B., Vie Fraser of Northport, Roy and Ruby Fraser of Northport and Reg and Vinnie Fraser of Alberton. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Isabel, Mae, Arnold and Devere. She was also predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law, Gabe Jardim, Enith Avery, Franklyn Fraser,Ralph and Ruth Fraser, Keir Fraser and Stuart Fraser. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart Church Alberton for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression memorials to the Western Hospital equipment fund would be gratefully appreciated. www.rooneyfh.ca
