Passed peacefully away on December 13th, 2009 at The North Pond Personal Care Home, Edith Miller, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Wallace (1975) and daughter Felicia (2009). Left to mourn her children Annabelle Cumby (Alex), Mac (Phoebe) Miller, Yvonne Somerton (Ed), Lola Churchill (Gary), and Valerie Miller. Also leaving to mourn 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, her sisters Dorothy Coombs (George), and Gertrude Fleming, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday and Tuesday, December 14th and 15th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 16th at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edith’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
