Alfred (Fred) Henry LaVallee
(1934 – 2009)
Fred was born in Eriksdale, Manitoba June 14, 1934 and passed away December 13, 2009 at Regina Pasqua Hospital at the age of 75 years. He worked at the Co-op Service Station from 1969 to 1975, drove his own gravel truck from 1976 to 1984 and was employed with Canadian Tire from 1985 until 1995. Fred’s interests included woodworking, sewing and spending time at the lake fishing. Predeceased by his father Peter and mother Zilda, sister Eileen Yakimowich, Fred is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose; children: Richard (Brenda), Vernon (Karen), Joseph (Carol), Annette (Garth) and Christopher (Tracy); eleven grandchildren; sisters: Francis (Homer) Daigneault and Audrey (John) Hudym , brother, Armond and Margaret LaVallee, father-in-law, Joseph Rothe, sister-in-law, Margaret (Clarence) Gelowitz and brother-in-law, Alfred (Linda) Rothe, nieces, nephews and many cousins. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St., Moose Jaw on Friday December 18, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Father Carlos Jimenez will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Evening Prayer Services will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday December 17, at 7:30 pm. Special Thanks to the Doctors and nurses at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital ICU and Regina Pasqua ICU.
