It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella Burden announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Corner Brook on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 in her 93rd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother Charles (Marigold); Woody Point, sisters: Gladys Moores; Brampton Ont., Patricia (Sidney) Roberts; Woody Point, sisters-in-law: Nellie Burden; Norris Point, Gloria Burden; Reidville, and brother-in-law Roland Pittman (Rita), Norris Point; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Joshua and Patience Burden, sisters: Millicent Burden, Blanche Burden and Mary Pittman, brothers: Heman, Roland, Clarence and Gordon, brother-in-law Frederick Moores, nephews: Roland Pittman and Junior Burden. Visitation will take place from the United Church in Shoal Brook on Thursday, April 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where the funeral will be held on Friday, April 13th at 2 PM with Rev. Larry Noseworthy officiating, with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Shoal Brook. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Shoal Brook United Church Memorial Fund in her memory.
