HOLMAN On August 27, 2007 Mrs. Goldie May Holman (nee Rollins) passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops at the age of 87 years. Goldie is survived by her husband Fred, her son Stan of West Vancouver (Lloyd Burritt), her daughter Eileen McBride of Kamloops (Jim Armstrong), grandchildren Jeremy and Jessica of Vancouver, Kenneth and Michael of Kamloops, her sister in law Ruth Holman of Victoria and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and six siblings. Born in Saskatchewan, Goldie moved to Victoria in the early 1940's, where she met and married Fred. They were long-time residents of Victoria until moving in 2002 to Kamloops Berwick on the Park. Goldie will always be remembered for her big smile, warm welcome and generous hospitality. Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Tea, Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Berwick on the Park, 60 Whiteshield Crescent South, All are welcome. The family gratefully declines flowers. Interment will follow later at Victoria's Hatley Memorial Gardens. The family extends their thanks to Goldie's care givers at Royal Inland Hospital and Ponderosa Lodge.
