Lifetime dairy farmer from Goulds, passed peacefully away on Friday, April 13, 2012 surrounded by his loving family, Weldon Williams aged 85 years. Predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Isabel Williams; his brothers Harold (Louise), Clifford, and Cyril; sister Olga (Ashton Collins). Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years Valda Williams (Williams); his only son Wayne and special daughter-in-law Joan; five daughters Lorraine (John Yuill), Sharon (Bill Williams), Judy (Ron Ershler), Annette (Blair Janes) and Leann (Bob Spurrell); 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn his sister Violet Ruby (Ralph deceased); sisters-in-law Gwen Williams (Ron Tucker), Olive Carter (Gordon), Margorie Samson (Lloyd deceased), Irene Knight (Cliff Williams deceased) and a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of both St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, for treating our father with care and respect. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road on Saturday from 12-9 p.m. and Sunday from 10-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Monday April 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Presentation Cemetery, Goulds.
