SUMMERS Isla Ann (nee Doherty), born July 17, 1932 - September 7, 2007. Loving wife of 33 years to David O. Summers, formerly of Kamloops, BC. Isla is survived by her children Karen (Brad) Curtis and Doug (Darilyn) Butler. Also survived by her step-children Jerry (Sharon), Judy and Gay Summers (Rudichuk), sisters Sheila (Bob) and Beth, thirteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Hector Butler (1970). Isla was a wonderful cook who loved to entertain her family and many friends. She enjoyed seven years as the Lemonade Lady at the Coquitlam Farmers Market. The family wishes to thank Dr. Lam and everyone involved in her care for the past 2 1/2 years. Celebration of Life will be held September 15, 2007 at 3:30 P.M. at the Friendship Baptist Church, 2950 Dewdney Trunk in Coquitlam. Flowers gratefully declined.
