BOUCHER, JOCELYN J. - The death of Jocelyn J. Boucher of Minto, NB occurred Monday, April 16, 2012. Born in Minto, NB she was the daughter of Kathryn (Tissington) Stilwell of Minto and the late Arthur Stilwell. Jocelyn's children were the loves of her life. She was a member of the Minto Fire Dept for over 17 years from 1988 – 2005 and one of the first female volunteer Fire Fighters in New Brunswick, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12, Minto and an active member of the Red Cross. She loved playing guitar, snowmobiling and biking.
Jocelyn is survived by special friend Robert Bartels; her son, Brandon and her daughter, Kendra: a step daughter, Nicole Boucher, the father of her children, Emile (Andrea); her mother, Kathryn (Tissington) Chapman all of Minto, NB; a brother, Kim Stilwell (Nancy) of Oromocto, NB; a sister, Carla Carney (Rodney) of St. Andrews, NB; a half-brother, Terry Stilwell of Saint John, NB; her lifelong chum, Diane Tower; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Talia, Logan and Hilary; many special friends.
In addition to her father, Arthur, she was predeceased by her stepfather, James Chapman. Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 4:00PM Thursday, April 19th, 2012 from Trinity United Church. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Red Cross NB would be appreciated by the family.
