It is with great sadness that the families of Philip Decker announce his sudden passing at the Central Health Hospital in Grand Falls/Windsor, NL, on Monday, April 16th, 2012, at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Louise (nee McKenzie), his children: Dana (Gary) Fudge, Roxanne (Clyde) Carey, both of Rocky Hr, Kimberley (Rob) Zammit of Bradford, Ontario, his grandchildren: Abigail & Caleb Fudge, Hayley & Emily Carey, Brandon Decker, and Tyler Zammit, his siblings: Marion (Gerald) Robar of Brampton, Ontario, Irving (Linda) of Rocky Hr, Koylie (Dora) of Norris Pt, and Christine (Terry) Caines of Fort McMurray, Alberta, his sisters-in-law: Irene Decker and Diane Decker, also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Phillip was predeceased by his parents: Ralph & Emma Decker, his siblings: Lloyd, Chesley, Rex and Frederick, his mother and father-in-law Ada & Samuel McKenzie. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Church of the Good Shepherd in Norris Pt, NL, on Wednesday, April 18th, 2012, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Thursday, April 19th, 2012, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday, April 20th, 2012, at 2:00 pm with Canon Jean Brenton Hickman officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
