CAIN, MARLENE BERTHA - Unexpectedly at her residence, the death of Marlene Cain occurred on Saturday, April 14, 2012. She was born on March 8, 1943 in Saint John to the late Harley and Jean (Armstrong) O'Blenis. Marlene worked several companies throughout her career but she retired from the Accounting Department at Irving Oil Ltd. Marlene is survived by her two sons: Mark (Rebecca) of Saint John and John (Christine) of Cambridge, ON; four grandchildren: Amanda (Jamie), Stephanie, John and Melissa and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers: Wesley and William; sister, Beverly and grandson, Stephen. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
