EVAN JAMES AYRES MAY 13, 1986 - SEPTEMBER 26, 2007 With broken hearts the family of Evan James Ayres share in their grief of his unexpected passing at Royal Inland Hospital. After a brief illness, the valiant efforts of the ICU staff and Evan's efforts were not enough. The time came to say goodbye for now. Evan will be welcomed by his Grandpa Matthews, Grandpa Ayres and his beloved sister Trish as his next journey begins. What a trip that will be!! He leaves us with so many memories and stories to share. His sense of humour and zest for life were legendary. He leaves behind his loving mom Sheila Knight (Len) and dad Roni Ayres, sister Corrie Pero (Mike), special niece Mia and sister Amber Ayres and brother Tyler Ayres. Evan also leaves Grandmas Thelma Matthews and Jean Ayres, aunts and uncles Mark and Gail Ayres, Gord Matthews, Cathie Matthews, Joanne Ayres (Ken) and Jackie Ayres, cousins Matt and Ben Ayres, Stacey Anderson (Kreg and sons Kobe and Zack) and Jeff Matthews and his many, many friends. A special thanks to Mark Chase (ACFL) also many thanks to the special angels of the ICU department who looked after Evan and his family. A special mention to Reverend Viktor Gundel.
