Peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2012, of Ada L.M. Smith (nee Stead) of Hunter River and formerly of New Glasgow, in her 99th year. Wife of the late Richard B. Smith. Loving mother of Myrna Morton, Orville (Eva) and Norman (Joanne) Smith. Grammie to John Richard, Heather, Roland, Lana, Amber, Nelson, Maria and Carson. Great grammie to Monica (predeceased), Nevan, Denver, Parker and Nolan. Predeceased by sisters Hazel (Walter) Jurkat, Bessie (Lester) Johnston and brothers Lloyd (Verna), Norman, Robert, Alfred (Hilda) and Orville (Blanche) Stead. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. Interment in New Glasgow Cemetery. If so desired memorials to the New Glasgow Cemetery or Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
