It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rendell S. House of Port Saunders, NL, announce his passing on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders at the age of 78 years. He Leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Meta; children Darren (Tammy), George (Delores) and Kelley (Martin); grandchildren Monty House, Megan House, Kaitlyn House and Darris Coombs; great-grandchildren Brie House, Ben House and Cole Coombs; brother Donald (Gladys) Pike; sister Betty (Dave) Pittman; sisters-in-law Hilda House and Louise Crane; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Seth and Elizabeth House, brothers Reginald House and Harvey Crane. Visitation was held at St. John the Devine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Wednesday and Thursday from where the funeral service took place on Friday, April 20 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
