The death occurred peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, with his family by his side of Elwin MacDonald, age 72 years. Loving father of Elwin Jr. (Eileen) and Arlene. Loving grandfather of Jeremy, Amanda (Rorry) and Shabon. Lovingly remembered by brothers and sisters; Annie (Archie) Livingstone, Gerald (Mariam), June Veld (Wally), Garnet (Marilyn), Owen (Debbie), Alice Acorn (Roger), Audrey (Lloyd), Edward, Lela MacKay (Cecil), Garry (Bernadette), Bev (Gary), Nora McCormack (Stanley) and sister-in-law; Helen MacDonald. Fondly remembered by numerious nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; Ralph and Lela MacDonald, brother; Earl MacDonald and grandson; Nicholas. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Friday evening 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Saturday morning, December 19, 2009, at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
