Mary Ross

Mary C. (Kemi) Ross of Riverview, formerly of Lewisville, was called home to be with her husband on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Born on Sept. 7, 1935, in Haliburton P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Geraldine (Corcoran) MacGregor. Mary was a retired school teacher with over 35 years of service to her community. She will be remembered as a caring grandmother and great-grandmother, a loving mother and cherished friend by her daughters; Geraldine (Geri) Darville of Halifax, Beverly Ross, Jacqueline Ross (Roy Hawkes) both of Moncton, Shannon Gauvin (Mike) of Riverview, with whom she resided, son Doug Ross of Ontario, two brothers; Robert MacGregor of Burton, P.E.I. and Frank MacGregor (Elaine) of Sherbrooke, Que. She is also survived by grandchildren; Natalie, Kristopher, Alex, Nathan, Holly Dawn, Stephen, Bree-Anne and Patrick and great-grandchildren; Logan and Lyndsey. She was predeceased by her husband James Douglas Ross, sister June Howard, an infant brother and son-in-law Robert Darville. The family will receive relatives and friends at Cobb\'s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, N.B., (869-2007) on Friday, Aug. 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:30. The funeral mass will be held from Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Riverview, on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Phil Mulligan officiating, with reception to follow in the church hall. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Pam Mansfield and especially Extra-Mural nurses Paulette and Nancy for their wonderful care.
