Passed peacefully away at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, Catherine Newhook (nee Power), aged 68 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Annie Power; brothers Edward and Patrick Power. Leaving to mourn her husband Albert; children Debbie Butler (Keith), Bev MacNeil (Dave), Tony Newhook (Roxanne), Edward Newhook (Kay), Valerie Newhook and Cathy Newhook; grandchildren Keith, Krystle, Tom, Ashley, Matthew and Zackery; sisters Gladys Stamp and Theresa Whitten; brother James Power (Vic); also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the Palliative Care staff at the Miller Centre. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and then on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held from St. Teresa’s Parish, Mundy Pond Road on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow service.
