CARD OF THANKS
Florence Milley

We, the family of the late Florence Milley, would like to thank everyone who cared for and cared about her during her illness. To all of her VON nurses, especially Ann Gillis-Andrea, a special thank you for making her last days the best they could be. To the Palliative Care nurses and doctors, especially Sharon Barron and Dr. Ann Frances D’Intino, thank you for making her as comfortable as she could be. To her family, especially nieces Jane, who treated her like her second mother, Isabel, Trish and cousin Joyce, thank you for the precious extra time you spent with her. To all who visited and phoned her, thank you. She enjoyed every minute of conversation with you, as this was a particularly strong trait of hers. Thank you to Elaine, Bev and Lloyd who watched her back and front doors for years. A special thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral, phoned, emailed, sent cards and the beautiful flowers, made memorial donations, sent food to our home and were just there for us. Thank you to Wayne and Colin Weatherbee and staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for your kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Thank you to Rev. Vernon Reid for his touching words. Thank you to Regina Doherty for her reading. Thank you to the pallbearers, Don Locke, Jim Burke, Winston Caines, Kris Boutilier, Lloyd Hilton and Wayne Badcock. Thank you to the choir of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, to the organist John Howie and to the St. Paul’s Ladies Guild for the lovely lunch that you provided.

Florence was a special loving and giving person to everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She was blessed to have so many caring people in her life who loved her dearly.

FOREVER GRATEFUL
Roy and Judi Milley
