Marjorie Nalda Smith (nee Irving) passed away on Dec. 15th, 2009 in Toronto with family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. W. S. Irving of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Kenneth W. Smith, M.D. of Montreal (1977). Predeceased also by her brother, Donald M. Irving of London (1993). Marjorie was an active member of First-St. Andrew's United Church for many years. She was a volunteer at London and Area Food Bank for eight years. This project was dear to her heart. Wherever she saw a need, she was there to give help if at all possible. She is survived by five children. Dr. Eric L. Smith (Kathleen) of Halifax, Kendra Smith of Ottawa, Victoria Hubbell (John), Toronto, Deirdre Cadman (John) of Toronto/Stoney Creek. She was a devoted mother and grandmother (Nana) to ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by so many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to "Friends of Music" of First -St. Andrew's Church or any charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on January 2, 2010 at First-St. Andrew's United Church on 350 Queens Ave, London, On. "A life well lived. A lifetime of giving."
