Carmella Rose Ann Gallant, on Sept. 1, 2008, in her 66th year, passed away in her sleep. She is survived by sister Grace Beckette of Grand Bend, Ont, brother, John (Chris) Gallant of Linkletter, P.E.I., sister, Rev. Freda and (Rev. Layton) MacDonald of Berwick, N.S., brother, Tom (Delma) Gallant of Miscouche, P.E.I.. and Darlene (Jerry) Thuss of Strathroy, Ont. Predeceased by her mother Bella Gallant 1996 and her father Earnest Phil Gallant 1979. Carm will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, many who enjoyed her humour and musical gift. Special thanks goes to all the hospital staff of Prince County Hospital for their care in her final days. A memorial will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. at Summerside Baptist Church, 219 Church St.
