Nicholson – The Family of the late John Nicholson would like to express our sincere thanks to the people who offered their support and comfort to John and our family in the time leading up to John’s passing on November 18, 2009 and in the days that have followed. We have appreciated your many expressions of sympathy shown through calls, visits, cards, emails, flowers, food, and memorial donations. The familiar faces of past and present at the funeral and reception were so appreciated. We are sincerely grateful to the Doctors at Buchanan Memorial Hospital, and to the North of Smokey Continuing Care Nurses and Palliative Care for their efforts to assist John in his journey. A special thank you we send to Father Dan MacDonald for his spiritual support and Father Vern Boutlier who co-celebrated the funeral. Thanks also to the staff of the jmjobesfuneralhome and to Choir of St. Peters Church their gifts of music at the funeral. Very special thanks to the St. Peters CWL for the reception following the funeral. John touched our lives. He was much loved and is greatly missed by us all.
