The death occurred Thursday, December 17, 2009 of Samuel F. "Sammy" Donovan of Charlottetown, age 61 years. Son of the late James and Alice (MacPhee) Donovan. Father of David, Dale, Anthony, Jeremy and Paula. Brother of James (Edie) Donovan, Joseph (Bernadette) Donovan, Mary (Allan) Trainor-MacDonald and Charles (Debbie) Donovan. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Eileen Donovan and Lorraine Donovan, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son Darcy and brother John. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where a private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Crapaud.
