It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our loved one Martha Horlick, age 76 years of Trinity, Bonavista Bay, on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Blanche Poole; husband Ambrose Horlick and son Glenn Horlick. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Claude (Janet) of Mt. Pearl; daughters: Joy Thompson (Bob) of Butts Pond and Kim Rowsell (Jim) of Gambo; partner John Cutler of Centreville; daughter-in-law Electa Horlick of Gander; brother William Poole (Marilyn) of Sherwood Park, AB; sisters: Ester Rose (Gordon) of St. Catharine’s, ON and Grace Beke (Hans) of St. Catharine’s, ON; grandchildren: Allison Horlick of Mt. Pearl, Joanne (Dave Samson) of Riverview, NB., Tim Horlick of Mt. Pearl, Matthew Rowsell of Gambo, Kierra Horlick of Gander and Hayley Horlick of St. Paul, AB; great-granddaughter Paige Samson of Riverview, NB; and many other relatives; as well as a large circle of close friends and acquaintances. Funeral service took place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Trinity on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Church Cemetery, Trinity.
