Passed peacefully away at The Pentecostal Senior Citizens Home, Clarke’s Beach on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, Mrs. Emmie J. Snow, aged 90 years, of Country Road. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Dorcas (nee Yetman) Roach, husband Ron Snow, grandchild Perry, sisters Maud (Kenneth) Earl and Madge (William) French. Leaving to mourn two sons: Donald, Lewis (Shirley); two daughters; Ivy (Glenn) Whalen, Gayle (Dale) Bonne; one brother George (Sylvia) Roach; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Clarke’s Beach. Interment in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
