It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard “Skinny” Spencer of Corner Brook, NL announce his sudden passing at the Health Sciences Centre, in St. Johns on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the age of 58 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 35 years: Donna, son Noah, mother Melida Spencer, siblings, Seaward (Betty) Anderson of Pilley’s Island, Ruth (Gary) Pike, Judy (Brian) Warren, Wayne (Sandra) Spencer, Mark (Margie) Spencer all of Corner Brook, sister-in-laws Angela (Bert) Stone of Marystown, Renee (Wayne) Prosper of Corner Brook, brother-in-law Todd (Iris) Brake of Gallants, Donna’s Uncle Ross (Greta) Brake, nieces and nephews Amanda (Matthew), Amy, Robyn, Renee, Robert, Penny, Melissa (Jamie), Stephanie, Dion, Krysten, Cory (Farrah), Jamie and Scott, special cousin Paula Allured of St. John’s as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Harold Spencer (1974) and mother-in-law Alma Brake (1973). Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Saturday April 28, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday April 29, 2012 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street with Majors Frank Johnson and Raymond Janes officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
