DARRON LAMPREAU On October 31, 2007 Darron Shawn Lampreau passed away at the age of 40 years. He is survived by his loving mother Dorothy Ash of Prince George, BC; sister Dinah Lissa and niece Nevada of Kelowna, his son Colton Mathias of Kamloops, uncles George Simon of Chase, BC; Stanley Lampreau of Louis Creek, BC, Roy (Marian) Lampreau and Ron (Marlene) Lampreau both of Chu Chua, BC; his aunts Clara (Jim) and Hilda (Sly) both of Kamloops and Judy of Coffeevile, Kansas. He is also missed by his cousins Terrence, Randall, Sheldon (they were like brothers), and Stacey and Shelly (they were like sisters). Darron was predeceased by his father Dennis Canaday, grandmother (mom) Laura Lampreau, his uncles Danny, Bert, Roger, Frank, Johnny and his aunt Ruth. Darron was raised by his uncle Stan Lampreau and grandmother Laura Lampreau in Louis Creek, where he spent most of his adult life. He graduated from Barriere High School. Darron enjoyed all sports, mainly football and baseball, his favourite hockey team was the "Toronto Maple Leafs". He enjoyed fishing with his uncle Stan and spending time with family. Darron's pastime was playing Sports Action and gardening. He was a very fun loving and caring person. He was very proud of all his firefighting tickets and abilities. Darron will be sadly and forever missed by his cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Darron often mentioned "when his time on earth was over, he didn't want any sadness or tears". A Wake will be held at the home of Stan Lampreau in Louis Creek at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 4, 2007. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel, 513 Seymour Street. Should friends desire, donations to the Salvation Army, Poplar Street, Kamloops, BC in memory of Darron would be appreciated.
