Pearl McDonald (nee Kelly) passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 surrounded by her loved family at the age of 77.
Pearl, beloved wife of the late Daniel ‘Bunny’ McDonald. Loving mother of Gerard McDonald and his wife Lynne, Danielle Willis and her husband the late Gary Willis, Dennis McDonald (Rosie), Mary and her husband Rene Stcyr, Jude McDonald and his wife Heather, Cletus McDonald and his wife Jane and Keith McDonald and his wife Heather. Loved Nana of Nicole, Jason, Josh, Tania, Jodi, Adam, Matthew, Shannon, Jordan, Samantha, Ashley, Behn, Lizzy, Daniel, Natalie and Breton. Great grandchildren Kelsey, Josh and Tianna.
Sadly missed by her eleven brothers and sisters in Cape Breton and many nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to all the staff at Extendicare Oshawa 1st floor for the loving and compassionate care given to Pearl.
Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. East, Oshawa with Funeral Mass at St. Gertrude’s Church (King Street East of Wilson) on Monday, Dec. 21st at 10:00 a.m.. Cremation. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to the St. Vincent de Paul would be greatly appreciated. Visitation Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
