Passed peacefully away at the Agnes Pratt Nursing Home on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, Zeta Clarke aged 77 years. Leaving to mourn her loving husband: Mac, three sons: Ian (Anne) of Cochrane, Alta.; Wayne (Denise) of St. John’s; and David (Joanne) of Oakville, Ont.; four grandchildren: Christopher and Adam of St. John’s, Rachel and Samuel of Oakville, Ont.; two sisters: Mina of Gander and Bertha of New Brunswick, as well as many other relatives and friends especially the staff at Southview, Agnes Pratt Nursing Home who provided Zeta with excellent care during the past two years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, Dec. 21 from (10 a.m. to 12 noon), (2 to 4 p.m.) and (7 to 9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Zeta’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to Agnes Pratt Nursing Home.
