It is with great sadness that the family of Hector Wilfred Osmond announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Sunday, April 29th, 2012 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: David (Kathleen) Osmond, Gary (Geraldine) Osmond, Effie (Gerald) Gale and Joan Daniels, his grandchildren: Perry (Michelle) Osmond, Derrick (Ashley) Gale, Joshua (Stephanie) Gale, Amanda Daniels, Jonathan Daniels and Melanie (Adam) Osmond, her great- grandchildren: Paul Gale, Riley Gale, Eric Provo Gale, Braden Provo Gale and Anthony MeDeiros, his sister, Alma Gavin, sisters-in-law: Maude (Esau) Pinksen, Masie (Kenneth) Osbourne, Pearl (Victor) Osbourne, brothers-in- law: Herbert (Mary) Gavin and Claude Gavin as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. Hector was predeceased by his wife Blanche (nee Gavin), parents, Irene and Jerry Osmond, his sister, Clara (Thomas) Gale, grandson, Paul Gale, brother-in-law, William Gavin, sister- in-law Margorie Rice. The family will be receiving family and friends at the Epiphany Anglican Church in Hampden, NL, Tuesday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marlene Leggo officiating, the burial to follow at the Church cemetery in Hampden, NL, at Rooms.
