Passed peacefully away at the Chancellor Park on December 21, 2009, William Frizzell, aged 96, of Bay Bulls, Big Pond. Predeceased by his wife Johanna (Anne); children: Kathleen Cox, Lucy Penney; and four infant children: Jackie, William, Harry, and Mary; his sons-in-law: Fred Vickers, Eric Cox, Dave Manning and Clarence Maher; six sisters and four brothers. Leaving to mourn sons: Sylvester (Emma) and Eric (Pam) of Big Pond; daughters: Mary Vickers, Goulds, Nellie (Pat), Topsail, Rita Drew (George), Bay Bulls; son-in-law, Mike Penney (Helen); 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Special thanks to the staff of Chancellor Park who treated Dad as if he was their own father. Words cannot express the sincere gratitude that the family of Billy can say to these wonderful people for their utmost compassion and support they showed him and his family. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on December 22, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and December 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Goulds, on Wednesday, December 23, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Kevin’s R.C.
