Mary (Vina) West, 98, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Mill Road, Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008. Born in Emerald, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Mary (Yeo) MacLean. Mary was a longtime member of Lewisville Baptist Church and the WMS. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter, Joan Larson (Homer), Lansing, MI; son, Kenneth Boyd West (Lorena), Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Karen, Kathy, Cheryl, Brian, David; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Moase, Kensington, P.E.I.; several nieces and nephews. Also survived by a sister-in-law Blanche MacLean, Charlottetown, P.E.I. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Hazen West (1985); son, Floyd; son-in-law, Dr. Eugene Dawson; sisters, Margaret Herrington, Christine Paynter, Alena Woodside, Alexie Gunn; brothers, Malcolm, Gerald, Archibald, Judson. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995) Sunday, 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service, Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, 1 p.m., Rev.
