January 3, 1921 – May 5, 2012 — Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Saturday May 5th, 2012, Arthur Brown of Whiteway, aged 91 years. Left to celebrate his life, his loving wife of 63 years, Mary, five sons; Gordon (Christine), Cecil (Barbara), Leonard (Sheila), Norman (Lorraine), Marshall (Lucy) and one daughter, Michelle (Carl Williams ). Grandchildren Colleen (Randy Hickey), Renee (Gary Reid), Gordon JR. (Melissa), Randy (Lisa), Sherman (Leila), Charlene (Jason Brook), Jamie (Krista), Ashley (Adam Porter), Ryan (Mary Ann), Evan (Stacey), Nicholas (Shayla), Courtney, Kelsey and Kayla. 11 great- grandchildren, four sisters; Carrie (Paradise), Trudy (Truro, NS), Hazel (Brampton, Ont), Jean (Oshawa), brothers and sisters–in-law; Jim (Valerie) Jackson, Clarence (Judy) Jackson, Frank (Lima) Jackson, Martha (Joe) Legge, Audrey Jackson and Sarah Harnum. He is also lovingly remembered by a number of nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Sunday May 6th 7:00 pm until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Whiteway, Tuesday May 8th at 1: 00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery.
