Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, Harold Andrew Frederick Cook with his family by his side. Left with loving memories, his wife Marguerite (Squires), very beloved son Douglas, daughters Wendy Mills (Walter), grandchildren Matthew and Megan and Tracey Taylor (David) grandchildren Ben and Andrew and his sister Barbara Rowsell. Predeceased by his parents Sidney (S.D. Cook) and Isabella and parents-in-law Benjamin and Florence Squire. Also his much loved brothers and sisters Donald, Reginald, Edna, Dorothy, Winifred, Jean, Margaret and Elsie. Harold will be sadly missed by family and friends who are very grateful for the time we had with him. Cremation has taken place at Harold’s request. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the First United Church, Park Street on Saturday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Myles Vardy officiating. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Harold’s memory may be made to the SPCA.
