The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, of Lorne Keith Barlow of Wellington, aged 80 years. Born in Wellington, he was the son of the late Clayton and Leona (Day) Barlow. Survived by his wife Mildred (Ferguson) Barlow; children Valerie (Patrick) Connors, Halifax, N.S.; Laverne (Gordon) MacRae, Baddeck, N.S.; Blair (Verna) Barlow, Wellington; Eric (Hermine) Barlow, St. Nicholas; Sheila (Leslie) Enman, Ellerslie; Gertrude (Justin) MacLellan, Wellington; Carl (Joan) Barlow, Lot 16; Catherine (John) Mitchell, Union Corner; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Muriel (Roland) Millar; Gladys McNeill (Cyril); Shirley (Russell) Ramsay; Eleanor (Alvin) Arsenault; brothers Claude, Eldon and Robert (Anna Mae) Barlow; sister-in-laws Rena Bell, Ethel Thompson and Mae Clark; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Lorna Barlow and a brother Carl. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where visiting hours will be held Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., funeral service will be held Saturday at the Wellington United Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Wellington.
