The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday Sept. 26, 2008, of Ann Lubbersen at the age of 81 years. She is the daughter of late Herman Vanzyl and Antonia Van De Schouw of Holland. She is survived by her sons and daughters Dick ( Carmella) of Abram-Village, Carolina (Eric) of Amsterdam, Holland, Robert (Christine) of Collingwood, Ont., Nancy (Jim) of St.-Marthe-sur-le -lac, Que., Harry (Sonia) of Dollard -des-Ormeaux, Que., five grandchildren Chantal (Michel), Denise, Daniel, Chelsea, and Catherine and three great-grandchildren Marissa, Amelie, and Cedric and also by a sister Corry (Henk) Heigman of Nieuvegein, Holland. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by husband, Dick, son, Tom and brother, Adrian. She was a member of Dames du Sanctuaire of Pincourt, Que. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Monday, then to St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay, for funeral mass at 7 p.m. Visitation shall be received on Sunday 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday 4 to 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Cremation will follow.
