Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, May 13, 2012, Leo Newman of Clarenville, aged 68 years. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Bernadette Newman; half brother Alonzo Cave. Left with fond and loving memories his companion Marie Johnson; daughter Nancy Smith (Grant), Fort McMurray, AB; sons Keith (Marilyn), Embree, Christopher (Chastity), Clarenville and Paul (Anna), St. John’s; grandchildren McKenna, Claire and Callie-Jo; sisters Loretta Slaney (William), Dunville and Eileen Sweetland (Alex), Clarenville; brothers Gerard (Hattie), St. John’s and Ben, St. John’s; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Clarenville with interment at Clarenville Interfaith Cemetery.
