It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Ethel Benoit (nee Hinks) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the age of 82 years. She will be sadly missed by her 5 sons: Austin (Judy) of Kitchener, Ontario, John of Ship Cove, Brian (Late Carol) of Ship Cove, Nolan (Toni) of Calgary, Alberta, Glenn (Glenda) of Piccadilly, 3 daughters: Carmella Benoit (Robert Pearson) of Windsor, Ontario, Sandra Benoit of Nova Scotia, Darla Ann Benoit of West Bay, 2 special nieces: Rose and Joan and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Benoit and her daughters, Della and Gloria, 5 brothers, 3 sisters. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Piccadilly on Friday, May 18th from 3-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Piccadilly with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Ship Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
