It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael J. Alexander announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the age of 65 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Shirley and one son, Michael G. (Lisa) of Kippens, one daughter, Tracy Alexander of Mississauga, Ontario, his mother, Jean Alexander of Kippens, two brothers: Bert (Marie) Alexander of Kippens, Bruce Alexander of Kippens, one sister, Pam Alexander (Terry) of Brantford, Ontario, 3 grandchildren: Matthew Alexander, Emily Alexander, Charles Downer and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Martin Alexander. Cremation has taken place and friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday, May 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private burial will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
