It is with great sadness that the family of the late JOHN FRANCIS McCARTHY of Terrenceville announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday May 5, 2012 at the age of 70. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Wife Frances McCarthy of 49 years; Sons Clem McCarthy of Hastings, ON. and Rod (Ada) of Terrenceville; Daughters Debbie (Robert) Pike of Bay Roberts, Lisa (Callistus) tenBroek of Conception Bay South and Beverley (Paul) Coombs of Terrenceville; Sisters Theresa Clarke, Mary Alice Short (Gordon), Marion Hickey (Pierce), Rita Kearley (Randell) and Mary Jane Hickey; Brothers Thomas McCarthy (Sheila) and Frank McCarthy (Bonnie). 9 Grandchildren Sasha & Allyssa McCarthy, Joshua & Emily tenBroek, Robyn Lynn & Jessica Pike, Jonathon & Molly Coombs and Austin McCarthy; Plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents John and Janet McCarthy; Brothers Patrick and Gary.

Funeral Mass took place on Tuesday May 8, 2012 at 11:00am from St. Joseph’s RC Church in Terrenceville. Interment followed at the St. Joseph’s R.C. Cemetery in Terrenceville. Flowers gratefully accepted.
