Passed suddenly but peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, Cecilia Brewin, age 62 years. Predeceased by her mother Mary (nee Hickey) and father Thomas. Leaving to mourn her devoted husband of 42 years Jim; three sons: Jimmy (Jackie), Philip (Jamie) and Rodney (Angela); four grandchildren: Brandon, Brittany, Molly and Brady Jay; sister Bride Hickey and brother Mike Tremblett; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends, especially lifelong friend Ellen Dawe. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 12 noon; 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, December 24th at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
