Passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center, Wai Chung Yu (Johnny) on December 19, 2009 aged 61 years. Leaving to mourn ex-wife Elizabeth Tam; son David Yu and wife Lily of Red Deer, Alberta; daughters Nancy O’Brien and husband Alfred of Edmonton, Alberta and Cindy Yu and husband Thomas Cheng of Ottawa, Ontario; two grandchildren Samantha Jing Wen Yu and Kelly Yukei Cheng; brothers Kenny Yu and wife Yuen Way Lee, Hong Too Yu and wife Chang Hi Yu and Hon Jun Yu and sister Kitty Yu. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, St. John's on December 22 to 24 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
Funeral Service to take place from The Carnell’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
